plant types

There are many different types of aquatic plants sold  now some of these arn't actually fully aquatic im am goin to tell you about a few types of aquatic plants such as Elodea, Cabomba and  Vallisneria americana.

   cabomba

cabomba is a plant that needs a lot of light. It can easliy be cloned by cutting of a branch

andsticking it in the substrate as

it will grow to be another plant this plant is also very

cheap.It gets terribly stringy

if not enough light is provided

       Elodea                                                                                                                                  

Elodea otherwise kown as american waterweed

Is a very hardy plant and is

sold at most local fish stores.and

is also very cheap.elodea should be planted

 in bunches.

Vallisneria americana

grow rather slow compared to other plants.they

 produce young plants by sending out runners.

these plants should not be placed deeply into

the substrate.
